Customer Notice Regarding Availability of Certain Products
To support federal efforts and our suppliers who will be diverting respirators for critical medical use, Airgas has decided to immediately stop the sale of disposable N95 respiratory products until further notice. Medical facilities and first responders are in desperate need of these respirators and our suppliers are addressing that critical need.
Additionally, due to extremely high demand for other models of respirators, as well as other related health and safety products such as hand sanitizers, we are unable to fulfill any new spot, extraordinary or special orders for these products regardless of stock status indicated on our website. Airgas is not authorized by our suppliers to ship certain products outside of the U.S., as they are designed and packaged to meet U.S. specifications. Existing customers with an established history of ordering these products from Airgas in the normal course of business will be prioritized. High volume orders will be subject to further review, and we cannot guarantee fulfillment of requested quantities at this time.

COVID-19 Update from Airgas
March 20, 2020
Safety comes first at Airgas, and we’re continuing to prioritize the safety of our customers, associates and the communities we serve. Knowing that the oxygen we deliver daily to hospitals and other aspects of our business are vital to our collective COVID-19 response, each part of our organization is primed and implementing business continuity measures based on local needs. Please be advised that in such emergencies, priority will always be given to medical facilities and first responders.
- We encourage customers to follow social distancing recommendations by placing orders for direct delivery via Airgas.com or our Airgas punchout site, or by calling ahead to your local branch so we can prepare your order for pickup. Customers can continue to choose the best way to connect with us -- whether through Airgas.com or digitally integrated eCommerce channels, our Airgas Total Access® telesales channel, Account Managers, and/or our local branches -- as we all work together to adapt to this dynamic environment.
- Because our business touches so many critical aspects of the U.S. supply chain - from healthcare and pharmaceuticals, to food production, water treatment, power and energy, to name a few - Airgas has been listed as an essential supplier by the FDA Drug Shortage Unit, the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within the Department of Homeland Security.

- Airgas’ domestic gas operations continue to produce and deliver essential products, particularly oxygen and other medical gases, to our customers. We are ramping up the production of critical medical gases in preparation for anticipated demand related to COVID-19, drawing on our experience from peak flu season demand and natural disaster evacuation and response efforts, and the experience from our global Air Liquide response. Our national network of nearly 50 gas production plants, 370+ cylinder fill plants and 440+ FDA-registered medical gas fill plants provides redundancies to ensure continued production and delivery of essential products.
Our committed associates are taking every precaution, including washing hands and social distancing methods like staggering or splitting shifts so we limit interactions, wiping down devices after each customer visit, and staying home if we are sick or in contact with someone exposed to the virus. While every emergency situation is different, we believe our commitment to emergency preparedness, extensive resources, strong national infrastructure, programs to help associates manage impacts to them from the event, and experience during past emergency situations position us well to respond to your needs.
On behalf of all of Airgas and our parent company Air Liquide, we wish you continued health and safety.
